X is for Exercise (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about exercise today. They enjoyed being very active today. We got our recourses for today from the X is for foX, X-Ray, & eXercise Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Exercise Learning

Exercise Writing

  • The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter X. My 3 year old had a capital X and lowercase x with tracing arrows, along with an exercising child to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing X’s and x’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the X is for foX, X-Ray, & eXercise Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Exercise Cube

  • I printed out the Exercise Cube on cardstock. Then I cut it out and folded and taped it together. Then the girls rolled it and did the action that it said… “Jumping Jacks”, “Touch your Toes”, and “Cartwheels”.

Exercise Worksheets

  • We did the I Spy the Letter X or x with a dot dauber.
  • She likes making patterns, so I found this Exercise Patterns worksheet for her to complete.
  • I printed out these How Many Exercises papers. They cut out the numbers at the bottom of the paper and then counted the exercising children’s and glued the correct number under each row of exercises.

Exercise Shapes

  • I printed out the  Exercise Shape game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. Then she reviewed her shapes as she matched up the barbell shapes.
