X is for Fox (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about foxes today. They love “What Does the Fox Say”. We got our recourses for today from the X is for foX, X-Ray, & eXercise Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Fox Science

Fox Writing

  • The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter X. My 3 year old had a capital X and lowercase x with tracing arrows, along with a weather to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing X’s and x’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the X is for foX, X-Ray, & eXercise Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

X is for fox

  • I printed this x is for fox Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the lower case “x” for them to paint orange. After that dried they glued it to a piece of green construction paper. Then I cut out the head, tail, and feet for them to glue on.

Ten Foxes

The girls each had a similar number 10 paper for counting foxes. My 3 year old had the number 10 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 10 foxes to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 10’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the X is for foX, X-Ray, & eXercise Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Fox Puzzles

  • I printed out the Fox Puzzle so she could cut out the pieces and glue them onto the puzzle.

Fox Color Match

  • I printed out the Fox Color Match game, and cut them out. I laminated them and the cut them again. Then we turned them all upside down and took turns flipping to try to find matching colors. They love playing games and often share their matches with the other child if it happens to be their favorite color.

Foxes by Size

  • Then she practiced her cutting with her Order Foxes by Size paper. She glued them on in the order by their size.
