U is for Umbrella (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about umbrella today. They loved playing in the rain and crafts. We got our recourses for today from the U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Umbrella Learning

Umbrella Writing

  • The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter U. My 3 year old had a capital U and lowercase u with tracing arrows, along with an umbrella to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing U’s and u’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the  U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Umbrella Craft

  • I printed out the Umbrella Colors craft for her to cut out the colored raindrops and glue them under the matching color under the umbrella.

Ten Umbrellas

  • The girls each had a similar number 10 paper for counting umbrellas. My 3 year old had the number 10 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 10 umbrellas to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 10’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Name Umbrellas

  • The girls use the Umbrella Names paper to practice making their names.
