U is for Umbrellabird (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about umbrellabirds today. They liked painting and other crafts. We got our recourses for today from the U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Umbrellabird Writing

  • The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter U. My 3 year old had a capital U and lowercase u with tracing arrows, along with an umbrellabird to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing U’s and u’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the  U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

u is for umbrellabird

  • I printed this u is for umbrellabird Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the lower case “u” for them to paint black. After that dried they glued it to a piece of green construction paper. Then I cut out the head, tail, and feet for them to glue on.

Eight Umbrellabirds

  • The girls each had a similar number 8 paper for counting umbrellabirds. My 3 year old had the number 8 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 8 umbrellabirds to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 8’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the U is for Umbrellabird, Underground & Umbrella Teachers Pay Teachers pack.
