The girls had fun learning about houses. They enjoyed creating the 3 Little Pigs houses and doing the exercise video. We got our recourses from the Letter H is for Horse, Hummingbird, and House Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Horse Learning
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more houses.
- She also completed her house room matching page from her Abeka Arts and Crafts with Button Bear book.

House Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter H. My 3 year old had a capital H and lowercase h with tracing arrows, along with a house to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing H’s and h’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter H is for Horse, Hummingbird, and House Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

H is for House Craft
- I printed this H is for House Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the capital “H” for them to paint their favorite color. After that dried they glued it to a piece of blue construction paper. Then I cut out the roof, windows, and door for them to glue on.

Four Houses
- The girls each had a similar number 4 paper for counting fish. My 3 year old had the number 4 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 4 houses to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 4’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter H is for Horse, Hummingbird, and House Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Shape Houses
- I printed out the Shape House and pieces, then the girls cut out the shapes and glued them in the appropriate places.

I spy the letter H
We did the I Spy the Letter H or h with a dot dauber.

House Color Match
I printed out the House Color Match game, and cut them out. I laminated them and the cut them again. Then we turned them all upside down and took turns flipping to try to find matching colors. They enjoyed this game, and did great taking turns.

The 3 Little Pigs Houses
- First we watched The Three Little Pigs on Youtube.
- Then I printed The Three Little Pigs activity onto cardstock.
- Then the girls glued small pieces of yellow paper for the house of straw. Then toothpicks for the house of sticks. Last they glued on small red rectangles cut from red paper for the bricks.

Active House Play
- We also loved participating in the Little House Exercise Adventures from The Good and the Beautiful.
