The girls had fun learning about stars today. They loved painting as always. We got our recourses for today from the S is for Seal, Spider, and Star Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Star Videos
- We learned more about stars by watching this Magic School Bus How Stars Form video.
- Then we watched the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star from The Good and the Beautiful and Caitie’s Classroom Twinkle Twinkle.
Star Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter S. My 3 year old had a capital S and lowercase s with tracing arrows, along with a star to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing S’s and s’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the S is for Seal, Spider, and Star Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

S is for Star
- I printed this S is for Star Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the capital “S” for them to paint. After that dried they glued it to a piece of black construction paper. Then they put star stickers all over it.

Nine Stars
- The girls each had a similar number 9 paper for counting stars. My 3 year old had the number 9 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 9 stars to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 9’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the S is for Seal, Spider, and Star Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Shooting Star Names
- The girls use the Shooting Star Names paper to practice making their names.

Star Worksheets
- We did the I Spy the Letter S or s with a dot dauber.
- I printed out the Star Number Order paper. Then she cut the number stars apart and glue them in the proper order above.
- She likes making patterns, so I printed this Star Colors Patterns worksheet for her to complete.
- Then they did the Match the Star Colors page. We reviewed each color and how to spell them before they matched them to the stars.
- We also practiced our shapes with the Star constellation Shape Trace paper.
- Sort Stars by Color while practice cutting and gluing.
