T is for Tiger (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about tigers today. They enjoyed crafts, painting, and reading once of their favorite books. We got our recourses for today from the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Tiger Science

Tiger Writing

  • The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter T. My 3 year old had a capital T and lowercase t with tracing arrows, along with a tiger to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing T’s and t’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

t is for tiger

  • I printed this t is for tiger Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the lower case “t” for them to paint orange. They let it dry and then add black paint stripes. After that dried they glued it to a piece of yellow construction paper. Then I cut out the face and tail for them to glue on.

Eight Tigers

  • The girls each had a similar number 8 paper for counting tigers. My 3 year old had the number 8 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 8 tigers to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 8’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Tiger Ten Frame

  • I printed out the Tiger Ten Frame game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. Then she would tell me what the number is on the Daddy tiger’s sign. Then she counted out the correct number of cubs to add to the ten frame.

Tiger Puzzle

  • I printed out the Tiger Puzzle on cardstock and then laminated it so that we can use it over and over again. Then she got to put together the tiger.
