The girls had fun learning about doctors today. They enjoyed playing doctor and making playdough bandaids. We got our recourses for today from the D is for Donkey, Doctor, Dog Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Doctor Learning
- Then we watched the Let’s go to the Doctor Caitie’s Classroom video.
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more doctors.
- We learned more about bees by watching this Inside Ralphie Magic School Bus video.

Doctor Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter D. My 3 year old had a capital D and lowercase d with tracing arrows, along with a doctor to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing D’s and d’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the D is for Donkey, Doctor, Dog Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Doctor Play
- She got her baby doll and doctor’s kit to practice being a doctor.

Doctor Color Matching
- I printed out the Doctor Color Matching game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. She reviewed each color as she matched up the colored doctor bags with the doctor wearing the matching colored shirt.

Doctor Worksheets
- She likes making patterns, so I found this Doctor Instruments Patterns worksheet for her to complete.
- She also Helped the Doctors get to the Hospital by tracing the curvy lines.
- Last she counted the doctor’s instruments in the doctor bag and wrote the number in the corresponding box.

Playdough Bandaids
- I printed out and laminated the Bandaid Play Dough Mat. She rolled out her Play Doh and cut out bandaid shapes to place the appropriate amount of stars on each page.

Bandaid Shape Match
- I printed out the Bandaid Shape Match game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. Then she reviewed her shapes as she matched up the bandaids.

My “d” Book
- I read the My “d” Book by Jane Belk Moncure to the girls too.
