The girls had fun learning about narwhals today. They enjoyed painting and making a narwhal hat. We got our recourses for today from the N is for Narwhal, Nurse, Nuts Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Narwhal Science
- I read the letter N from the Abeka Animal Friends Flashcards to learn more about the narwhals. We watched Nicky Narwhal Song to go with the card.
- We learned more about narwhals by watching this Wild Kratts Horn and Tusk Power video.
- She also did her Narwhal page from her Abeka Letters & Sounds for 3’s book.
- She also completed her Narwhal craft from her Abeka Arts and Crafts with Button Bear book.
- We reviewed all of the sounds we have learned so far with the Abeka Alphabet Flashcards.
- We learned the Parts of a Narwhal from this poster too.

Narwhal Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter N. My 3 year old had a capital N and lowercase n with tracing arrows, along with a narwhal to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing N’s and n’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the N is for Narwhal, Nurse, Nuts Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

N is for Narwhal
- I printed this N is for Narwhal Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the capitol “N” for them to paint blue. After that dried they glued it to a piece of blue construction paper. Then I cut out the head and tail for them to glue on.

Five Narwhals
- The girls each had a similar number 5 paper for counting narwhals. My 3 year old had the number 5 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 5 narwhals to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 5’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the N is for Narwhal, Nurse, Nuts Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Narwhal Puzzle
- I printed out the Narwhal Puzzle on cardstock and then laminated it so that we can use it over and over again. Then she got top put together the narwhal.

Narwhal Worksheets
- She also Helped the Narwhal’s win the Race by tracing the curvy lines.
- I also printed out the Narwhal Shape Trace paper for her to work on her fine motor writing skills.

Narwhal Hat
- I printed out the Narwhal Hat onto cardstock and formed it into a hat and stapled it to their size.

Narwhal Color Match
- I printed out the Narwhal Color Match game, and cut them out. I laminated them and the cut them again. Then we turned them all upside down and took turns flipping to try to find matching colors. They enjoyed this game, and did great taking turns.
