H is for Horse (preschool)

The girls had fun learning about horses. They enjoyed painting and counting today. We got our recourses from the Letter H is for Horse, Hummingbird, and House Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Horse Science

Horse Writing

The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter H. My 3 year old had a capital H and lowercase h with tracing arrows, along with a horse to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing H’s and h’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter H is for Horse, Hummingbird, and House Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

h is for horse Craft

  • I printed this h is for Horse Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the lower case “h” for them to paint brown. After that dried they glued it to a piece of green construction paper. Then I cut out the wings and tail for them to glue on.

Two Horses

Counting Carrots

  • I printed out the Counting Carrots game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. First she found the carrot numbers in order and then fed them to the horse.

Horse Number Recognition

  • I printed out the Horse Number Recognition game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. First she counted the dots on the barn and then found the matching horse number.

Horseshoe Patterns

  • She likes making patterns, so I found this Horseshoe Patterns worksheet for her to complete.
  • She used the dot dauber to complete the patterns.
