The girls had fun learning about gardens. They enjoyed coloring, cutting and gluing papers today. We got our recourses from the Letter G is for Goat, Garden, Globe Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Garden Science
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more gardens.
- We learned about plant life cycle with the Pumpkin Life Cycle poster.
- We learned more about gardens by watching this Magic School Bus Spring has Sprung video.
- She also did her Garden page from her Abeka Letters & Sounds for 3’s book.

Garden Writing
The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter G. My 3 year old had a capital G and lowercase g with tracing arrows, along with a garden to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing G’s and g’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter G is for Goat, Garden, Globe Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Garden Counting
- After we reviewed what kinds of vegetables can grow in the garden I printed out these How Many Vegetable papers. They cut out the numbers at the bottom of the paper and then counted the vegetables and glued the correct number under each row of vegetables.

Two Gardens
The girls each had a similar number 2 paper for counting gardens. My 3 year old had the number 2 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and a globe to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 2’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter G is for Goat, Garden, Globe Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Garden Shapes
- I printed out some worksheets to review shapes. They colored the water droplet shapes that matched the flower shapes.

Garden Patterns
- She likes making patterns, so I found this Garden Vegetables worksheet for her to complete.

Flower Pot Names
- The girls use the Flower Pot Names paper to practice making their names.
