The girls loved learning about flowers today. They enjoyed making flowers with playdough, candy, and toys. We got our recourses for today from the Letter F is for Fish, Firefighter, Flower Preschool Pack Digital Download.

Flower Science
- Then we watched the Flower Parts from The Good and the Beautiful video.
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more flowers.
- She counted 4 flowers with her Abeka Numbers and Skills with Button Bear book.
- I printed out the Parts of a Flower poster and Flower Life Cycle poster for us to study as well.

Flower Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter F. My 3 year old had a capital F and lowercase f with tracing arrows, along with a flower to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing F’s and f’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter F is for Fish, Firefighter, Flower Preschool Pack Digital Download.

f is for Flower Craft
- I printed this f is for Flower Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the lower case “f” for them to paint green along with the leaves. They got to paint the flower whatever color they chose. After that dried they glued it to a piece of black construction paper. Then they glued the leaves and flower onto the “f”.

Three Flowers
- The girls each had a similar number 3 paper for counting flowers. My 3 year old had the number 3 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and a flower to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 3’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter F is for Fish, Firefighter, Flower Preschool Pack Digital Download.

Flower Garden Toys
- They seem to really enjoy these Flower Garden Building Toys. You can mix and match the stem, leaves, petals, and the middle of the flowers. Today, they made a rainbow flower garden.

Candy Flowers
- She often ask for a “treat”, so today we made flowers from our M&M’s.

Flower Pot Color Matching
- I printed out the Flower Pot Color Matching game and then cut the pieces and laminated them. She reviewed each color as she matched up the colored flowers to the colored flower pots.

Playdough Flowers
- I printed out and laminated the Flower Pot Play Dough Mat. She rolled out green Play Doh for the stems, and then colored Play Doh for the flower petals.

Flower Worksheets
- We did the I Spy the Letter F or f with a dot dauber.
- We also traced the Flower Garden Shapes.
