The girls had fun learning about cars today. They loved driving the cars on the roads. We got our recourses for today from the Letter C is for Cow, Car, Cat Preschool Pack Digital Download
Car Learning
- The girls liked Caitie’s Classroom Car Wash a lot.
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more cars.
Car Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter B. My 3 year old had a capital C and lowercase c with tracing arrows, along with a car to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing C’s and c’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the C is for Cow, Car, Cat Preschool Pack Digital Download.
Car Shape Roads
- I printed out the Car Shape Roads and then cut the pieces and laminated them. She used these Mini Pull Back Cars to drive on the roads. She told me what shape each road was as she drove on it.
Car Number Roads
- We also printed out the Car Number Roads and then cut the pieces and laminated them. She used these Mini Pull Back Cars to drive on the roads. I used a Sharpie to write a number on the top of each car because we use these in my Kindergarteners Math Box too. She wanted to drive the car with the matching number on the appropriate road.
My “c” Book
- I read the My “c” Book by Jane Belk Moncure to the girls too.
Color Car Match
- I printed out the Car Color Match paper, she matched the car with the word color. The words are in color to make the matching easier.
I spy the letter C
- We did the I Spy the Letter C or c with a dot dauber.
