The girls had fun learning about jaguars today. The girls liked painting a mask and running fast like jaguars. We got our recourses for today from the Letter J is for Jaguar, Jellyfish & Jam Preschool Pack Digital Download.

Jaguar Science
- I read the letter J from the Abeka Animal Friends Flashcards to learn more about the jaguars. We watched Jenny Jaguar Song to go with the card.
- We learned more about jaguars by watching the Wild Kratts Deadliest Felines.
- She also did her Jaguar page from her Abeka Letters & Sounds for 3’s book.
- I also printed out the Jaguar Run poster and the girls had fun running up and down the hall.
- She also painted some spots on her jaguar from her Abeka Arts and Crafts with Button Bear book.

Jaguar Writing
The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter J. My 3 year old had a capital J and lowercase j with tracing arrows, along with a jaguar to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing J’s and j’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter J is for Jaguar, Jellyfish & Jam Preschool Pack Digital Download.

J is for Jaguar Craft
I printed this J is for Jaguar Craft onto cardstock for the girls to paint. I cut out the capital “J” for them to paint orange. They let it dry and then add black paint spots. After that dried they glued it to a piece of green construction paper. Then I cut out the head and legs for them to glue on.

Three Jaguars
The girls each had a similar number 3 paper for counting jaguars. My 3 year old had the number 3 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 3 jaguars to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 3’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the Letter J is for Jaguar, Jellyfish & Jam Preschool Pack Digital Download.

Jaguar
- She also Helped the Jaguars reach the Jungle by tracing the curvy lines.

Jaguar Mask
- I printed out the Jaguar Mask onto cardstock and the girls used their Crayola Watercolors to paint them.

My “j” Book
I read the My “j” Book by Jane Belk Moncure to the girls too. An astronaut helps Little a in the book.
