The girls had fun learning about magnets. They really enjoyed all of the magnet experiments that we did. We got our recourses for today from the M is for Monkey, Mouse / Mice, & Magnet Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Magnet Science
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more magnets.
- We learned more about magnets by watching Magnets in the Real World by the Good and the Beautiful video.
- I printed out the Magnet Attract/ Repel Poster from TPT.
- I also gave them each a horseshoe magnet to test objects from around the house.

Magnet Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter M. My 3 year old had a capital M and lowercase m with tracing arrows, along with a magnet to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing M’s and m’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the M is for Monkey, Mouse / Mice, & Magnet Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

What is Magnetic?
- I printed out the What is Magnetic? paper and collected the supplies onto a paper plate for the girls to test their horseshoe magnets with.

Magnet Worksheets
- What is Magnetic? Draw a line from the magnet to the magnetic items.
- We did the I Spy the Letter M or m with a dot dauber.
- Help the Magnets reach the objects paper to practice tracing.

Six Magnets
The girls each had a similar number 6 paper for counting magnets. My 3 year old had the number 6 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 6 magnets to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 6’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the M is for Monkey, Mouse / Mice, & Magnet Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Alphabet Soup
- I printed out the Alphabet Soup magnet paper for the girls to attach their magnet letters to. They told me the letter before putting it in the soup, and they remembered some of the sounds too.

More Magnet Videos
- The girls liked Caitie’s Classroom Magical Magnets a lot.
- We also watched Danny Go Magnetic Mania.
- Last we watched The Magic School Bus is the Bus going to the Junkyard.
