4 Year Old Rapunzel Preschool Photoshoot

Disney’s Tangled is such a fun and silly movie that Storm loves. We love playing in the dvd player in the car every February to prepare her for her Rapunzel photoshoot!

Princess Rapunzel is such a fun and silly girl. She finds things to love and have fun in all situations. She is has to stand up for herself against the only person that she has ever known before. But she gains true love and a family for her bravery.

Storm is also a silly girl who proves her bravery over and over again. She is not afraid of anything and always wants to lead and do things by herself. We try to teach her to make the most of every situation as well.

We took these pictures in the kitchen with a purple curtain as the backdrop and the stone wall that I made for our X-Men Trunk-or-Treat. I painted a sun on the tiny frying pan when she was a baby for her Baby Rapunzel photos, I printed out a picture of Flynn Rider on some resume paper to give it an old look, and I found this neat candle lantern at a thrift store. We also added some fun pink flowers. She is wearing a  Rapunzel dress with white tights. I combed her hair straight after her back and parted it on the side. She wore her purple  earrings are from a multi color pack that I bought when she was a baby.

Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it..”

Storm has dressed as Rapunzel on February 17 every year of her short life!

Tangled is a family favorite for our house, the entire movie is great and upbeat!

Rapunzel is a sweet passionate girl who always keeps her word.  She tries to be happy in all situations but also has hopes and desires. She outgoing and friendly with everyone, even the strange looking ruffians in the bar.  I also love her innocents of the worldly things she encounters.

Just like Rapunzel, Storm doesn’t know a stranger.  Ever since she was a baby she would reach and point to people whenever we are out and about.  Now she is always giving hugs to people that she knows, she is a very sweet and thoughtful girl.

We went to an entrance to a subdivision that had these cute little towers this year for her Rapunzel photos. I painted a sun on the tiny frying pan when she was a baby for her Baby Rapunzel photos, I printed out a picture of Flynn Rider on some resume paper to give it an old look, and I found this neat candle lantern at a thrift store. We also added some fun pink flowers. She is wearing a Rapunzel dress that we bought for her this year, and her silver flats with white tights. I combed her hair straight after her back and parted it on the side. She wore her purple  earrings are from a multi color pack that I bought when she was a baby.

Psalm 46:5 “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.”

Tangled is a fun movie for our family. She is starting to understand who she is dressed as for the pictures.

Princess Rapunzel was taken as a baby, so she wasn’t raised as a princess. She keeps a positive and upbeat attitude despite being trapped in a tower her whole life. She finds a friend and fun things to do to keep her days busy.

Storm is also a busy girl, we are working on the positive attitude though. She is generally a happy girl, but does live up to her name sometimes.

We went to to the park this year for her Rapunzel photos. I painted a sun on the tiny frying pan when she was a baby for her Baby Rapunzel photos, I printed out a picture of Flynn Rider on some resume paper to give it an old look. We also added some fun pink flowers. She is wearing a Rapunzel dress that we found at a yard sale too. The weather was pretty nice this year, so she got to be barefoot. I combed her hair straight after her back and parted it on the side. She wore her purple  earrings are from a multi color pack that I bought when she was a baby.

Psalm 46:5 “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early”.

Disney’s Tangled is a family fun movie. Rapunzel’s dream is to see the floating lanterns, but first she will have to escape the tower. Of course every Disney princess has an animal sidekick, and Pascal is such a playful one.

Princess Rapunzel is a enthusiastic, passionate, and happy girl.

I like to sing an affirming song to her, I sing to her is to the tune of “Mary had a Little Lamb”…

“Storm is a happy girl
Happy girl, happy girl
Storm is a happy girl
She’s my happy, happy girl”

I hung a purple curtain from the background and made a banner to hand across it. I used my homemade cardboard stone wall that we used in our X-Men Trunk-or-Treat for part of her background as well. Then I found a candle lantern and some flowers for her to play with too. Her tiny frying pan  with the sun star painted on it was a great prop for today. I found some giant scissors and some cut blond hair from an old doll to put on the floor! She loves to stroke my hair whenever I hold her, she also twirls her own hair while she falls to sleep.

She looked so pretty in her Rapunzel dress and Rapunzel bow in her  princess bow set. She also wore her purple  earrings  from her multi color pack earrings.

Psalm 68:3 “But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.”

6 Month Rapunzel Baby Photos

I chose Disney’s Tangled for the February princess because Rapunzel’s makes me think of hearts and Valentine’s Day. I love purple and think it would look good with her future Rapunzel Photos too.

I found a purple romper dress at a used baby clothing store and used embroider thread to make the criss-cross on the top! I put in the Rapunzel bow from the  princess bow set into her hair, and she wore her small gold ball earrings.

I found the backdrop curtain at a thrift store and I made the banner with paper and ribbon that I had. She likes to grab things, so I gave her a necklace or flowers to keep her hands occupied. I also found the candle lantern at the thrift store. The hair is from an old doll that I found and the scissors I found on Amazon. I used a paint pen to make the sun on the tiny frying pan  .

I used my EOS 2000D Canon Rebel Camera to take her princess photos. I also use my softbox photography lighting and backdrop rod to help.
