I used some curtains and scarves as the back drop and flooring. I also had found some gold vases at the local thrift store. Then I also added the gold beads and golden lantern.
Disney’s Aladdin is a hit at our house. Storm’s favorite animal is a tiger. We ask her what animal we will see at the zoo whenever we go. She always says “Tiger”.
Princess Jasmine is a free spirit, loves to be in control of her own life. She doesn’t want to be told what to do or who to marry. At one point she sets the birds free in the castle because she knows how they feel
Storm also loves to be in control, like most toddlers! She thinks that she is the boss and that all of the big people in her life are here to serve her.
I broke down and bought her a brand new Jasmine Costume this year. The rest of the props and back drops are all from thrift shops. I pulled her hair back into 3 spaced pony tails and added the teal headband. She wore her gold earrings and her sparkly gold flats.
She’s a dancing girl!
James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”.

Tangled is a fun movie for our family. She is starting to understand who she is dressed as for the pictures.
Princess Rapunzel was taken as a baby, so she wasn’t raised as a princess. She keeps a positive and upbeat attitude despite being trapped in a tower her whole life. She finds a friend and fun things to do to keep her days busy.
Storm is also a busy girl, we are working on the positive attitude though. She is generally a happy girl, but does live up to her name sometimes.
We went to to the park this year for her Rapunzel photos. I painted a sun on the tiny frying pan when she was a baby for her Baby Rapunzel photos, I printed out a picture of Flynn Rider on some resume paper to give it an old look. We also added some fun pink flowers. She is wearing a Rapunzel dress that we found at a yard sale too. The weather was pretty nice this year, so she got to be barefoot. I combed her hair straight after her back and parted it on the side. She wore her purple earrings are from a multi color pack that I bought when she was a baby.
Psalm 46:5 “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early”.

Disney’s Frozen is such a sweet movie (makes me cry every time). She likes the snow and the thought winter as much as Olaf loves the thought of summer. She loves to cuddle her Stuffed Olaf.
Princess Elsa is such a loving sister. She loves her sister Anna so much that she keeps herself hidden away to protect Anna from her untrained powers.
Storm is also turning out to be a loving girl. She loves her baby niece more than anything, and asks every day if she will be spending the day with us.
She loves getting all dressed up and says, “Pretty like a Princess”. I tried an easy loose braid, but she absolutely hates when I mess with her hair. She wore an Elsa dress , these white flats and her blue earrings are from a multi color pack. We took these picture with a blue sheet for the background. I also added some Christmas lights behind the sheet to like like snowflakes, then I hung a snowflake from the ceiling. I used a snowflake tablecloth for the floor.
Romans 12:9 “Let love be sincere; hate what is evil, hold on to what is good”.

Sort colored pom-pom balls into the corresponding colored bowls or in this case I used paint lids.
High-Five Colors: Make hand prints out of felt and have the child give a high five to the color you call out.
Bear Puzzle- I had this wooden bear puzzle that I found at a famer’s market years ago. It has all the colors that we have learned and T is starting to get better at puzzles.
Sort Colored scoops of ice cream onto the correct cones.
Color Wheel Clothespins- Laminate a color wheel and paint one color onto each clothes pin. Let the child attach the colored clothespins to the corresponding color on the color wheel. I have also created one of these Color Spinning Wheels and included it in my Teachers Pay Teachers Colors Worksheets Preschool (Learn to spell 11 Colors) Color Mixing Activities.
Mouse in the Color House- Hide the mouse behind the house and let the child find it.
Three gray mice, Three gray mice, Oh, how nice, Oh, how nice. They ran around the house at night. They found some cheese and had a bite. The farmer’s wife turned on the light. As three gray mice, Ran from sight! –Jean Warren
Color Recognition: Show the child 3 cars or toys (be sure one is gray). Have the child point to the gray car.
I wrapped diaper boxes and pizza boxes in brown packing paper. Then I mixed red and black paint and used a sponge to put it on the paper to look like bricks.
