The girls had fun learning about telephones today. They enjoyed memorizing their phone number. We got our recourses for today from the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Telephone Learning
- We read from the Abeka Preschool Language Development Cards to learn more telephones.
- We learned more about telephones by watching How does a Telephone Work.
- She counted 8 telephones with her Abeka Numbers and Skills with Button Bear book.
- We reviewed all of the sounds we have learned so far with the Abeka Alphabet Flashcards.
- Then we watched the Who Invented the Telephone video.
- I also printed out the Telephone Cards and laminated them.

Telephone Writing
- The girls each had a similar writing paper for the letter T. My 3 year old had a capital T and lowercase t with tracing arrows, along with a telephone to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added a short poem and more tracing T’s and t’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Nine Telephones
- The girls each had a similar number 9 paper for counting telephones. My 3 year old had the number 9 with tracing arrows, along with a helpful poem, and 9 telephones to color. The 5 year old had the same paper, but added more tracing 9’s on the bottom. I found both of these in the T is for Tiger, Telephone, and Train Teachers Pay Teachers pack.

Telephone Worksheets
- The girls reviewed their number order 0-9 with the Telephone Number Order paper.
- She got to practice her cutting skills with the Sort the Telephones page.
- We did the I Spy the Letter T or t with a dot dauber.
