Today we learned about different types of frogs.  We had fun with writing, crafts, and snacks.

Comprehension Questions:

Frog Facts

Materials:

  • Construction Paper
  • Writing Paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil

Directions;

  1. Cut out a circle from green paper and fold it in half for the mouth.Frog Study (26) Frog Study (24)
  2. Cut to ovals for the eyes and glue them to the back of the mouth.Frog Study (22)
  3. Cut strips of paper for the legs and fold them back and forth, back and forth, and again.
  4. Glue the legs to the bottom of the frog,Frog Study (20)
  5. Cut feet from the paper and glue to the legs.Frog Study (19)
  6. Cut eyes from black and white paper and add them to the eyes.Frog Study (18) Frog Study (17)
  7. Cut a red strip of paper for the tongue and glue it inside the mouth.Frog Study (16)
  8. Curl the tongue by wrapping it around the pencil.

Pond Dot Game

I found a Pond Dot Game on page 4 of this download.Frog Study (4)

Froggy Float

Materials:

  • Mint Ice Cream
  • Sprite
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Mini Chocolate Chips
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Licorice

Directions:

  1. Put a scoop of green ice cream into the cup and add sprite.
  2. Put 2 marshmallows on top of the foam for the eyes.
  3. Add a mini chocolate chip to the center of each marshmallow.
  4. Make a chocolate syrup mouth
